Dalton Floyd

Dalton Floyd is a Technical Media Producer at WDBJ7 since April 2022, bringing experience from roles such as Production Assistant at First Media Radio and Videographer/Editor for Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf’s social media. Previously, Dalton served as Chief Engineer at WMLU 91.3 FM, managing technical issues and overseeing website operations. An internship with ESPN involved camera operation and graphics support for sports broadcasts. Dalton's early career includes roles as a Dining Services Associate at Parkhurst Dining and Aramark Refreshment Services. Educated at Longwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and at Mountain Gateway Community College with an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration, Dalton combines technical expertise with a solid foundation in media and customer service.
