Shannon Cavendish

Shannon Cavendish is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in account management and development. Currently serving as a Senior Account Executive at WDBJ7 since November 2015, Shannon focuses on crafting targeted marketing strategies across diverse platforms, including internet, social media, and traditional radio. Prior to this role, Shannon held the position of Director of Development at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association from October 2014 to November 2015. Shannon's career also includes significant tenure as an Account Manager at WSLQ/Q99 and News/Talk 960 WFIR from November 1998 to October 2014, and Shannon began the professional journey as a Tax Specialist at both TransAmerica and First Union National Bank. Educational credentials include attendance at Virginia Western from 1990 to 1993 and graduation from Christiansburg High School in 1989.
