Nargis Hakim Rahman is currently a Reporter, Producer, and Fill-in anchor at WDET 101.9 FM Detroit's NPR Station. Nargis is also the Editor and Publisher of the Saa Nasta Newsletter and works as a Freelance Writer for various local media entities. Additionally, Nargis has experience as a Journalists in Aging Fellow at The Gerontological Society of America, an Archival Fellow at the South Asian American Digital Archive, and a Residency Program Coordinator at Wayne State University. Nargis has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and a Master's degree in Media Arts and Studies from Wayne State University.
