Mr. James offers experience that encompasses all phases of project delivery from initial concept design and programming through construction administration and final delivery of projects. He has acquired a broad knowledge base that enables him to incorporate and enhance a client’s program, work within a variety of project delivery methods, communicate effectively within complex client structures, and maintain the project schedule. His portfolio of projects include complex mixed-use, commercial office, residential and hospitality facilities located within the Washington DC region. Several projects required submission and approval thru local jurisdiction planning regulations; including Arlington County’s Administrative Regulation 4.1, the District’s Planned Unit Development and Montgomery County’s Site Plan Review processes. As a senior project architect, Mr. James is a leader in WDG’s quality control and technical detailing group. His systematic approach to production and coordination, including the use of BIM, result in well-organized, well-planned projects.
