Norman Knight

Norman Knight is the Director of the Flight Operations Directorate at NASA, overseeing a team of approximately 2,400 employees responsible for planning, training, and executing human spaceflight missions. With extensive experience in various leadership roles including Deputy Director and Chief of the Flight Director Office, Knight has been pivotal in human spaceflight operations for both the International Space Station and Shuttle missions. Additional roles include serving as a board member for Rotary NASA and the Prescott Campus Board of Visitors at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as working as a motivational speaker. Knight holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has completed a program at Harvard Business School.
