Roland Johnson

Roland Johnson is an accomplished filmmaker and editor with extensive experience in the broadcast industry. Currently serving as a filmmaker editor at WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit since April 2022, Roland has previously worked with the BBC from November 2013 to April 2022, contributing as a shooting producer director for the Sam Smith Special and as a video journalist/editor for BBC World Hacks and The One Show. Additional roles include a Director of Photography and camera operator for Attaboy TV, ITN, and other media organizations, successfully producing and directing various projects, including documentary series and news segments. Roland also boasts expertise in content production across multiple platforms, having worked with leading companies such as VICE Media and Love Productions.
