Amir Farooq

Amir Farooq has over 12 years of work experience in various roles. Amir began their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at RM Education. Amir then moved to a Developer/Development Lead role and eventually to a Release Manager role. In 2012, they took on an Interim Release Manager role at Severn Trent Water and a Release Coordinator role shortly after. In 2014, they joined Housing Partners Ltd as Head of Operations, managing the Help Desk, IT, Development, and QA departments. Amir also took on the role of Information Security Manager and Release Manager. In 2018, they joined Impetus Automotive as a Project Manager and SAF Directions Limited as Founder & CEO. Most recently in 2019, they joined We Are Digital Training as Chief Operations Officer.

Amir Farooq completed a BSc Computing for Business from Aston University in 2007 with a 2:1 degree. Their field of study was Business and Computing. In addition, they hold an ITIL Foundation certification.
