Michelle Durfee currently serves as the Donation Program Manager at We Are Sharing Hope SC, leading initiatives to enhance organ and tissue donation experiences in South Carolina hospitals. Previously, Michelle held the position of Clinical Specialist in Aortic Intervention at Cook Medical, providing medical device support and education. Michelle's experience also includes serving as a VNS Operating Product Support Specialist at LivaNova, where collaboration with surgical teams was essential for epilepsy treatment. Prior roles include Board Certified Cardiovascular Perfusionist at LMC Perfusion and a Student Perfusionist at the Medical University of South Carolina, alongside administrative duties in the Neurosurgery division. Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the College of Charleston.

We Are Sharing Hope SC actively provides organ and tissue donor services to over 80 hospitals throughout the state, as well as community education to more than 4.6 million people. Staff at We Are Sharing Hope SC serve as critical support for families during their time of loss, offering the Gift of Life through donation as an opportunity to continue their loved one's legacy.
