Selina McKewen has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Hospital Development Coordinator for the South Carolina State Government since June 2008. Prior to this role, Selina worked at Roper Hospital from August 2003 to September 2008 as an Ambulatory Care CNA, focusing on ICU patient care. Additionally, Selina has a background in recreation and healthcare, having served as Recreation Coordinator II and lifeguard at the Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (Coastal Center) from January 1992 to August 2000. Selina holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College, and has completed a certificate in Health Services/Allied Health at Trident Technical College, alongside further studies at Charleston Southern University.

We Are Sharing Hope SC is the federally-designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) for organ and tissue recovery services in South Carolina. We Are Sharing Hope SC actively provides organ and tissue donor services to over 80 hospitals throughout the state, as well as community education to more than 4.6 million people. Staff at We Are Sharing Hope SC serve as critical support for families during their time of loss, offering the Gift of Life through donation as an opportunity to continue their loved one's legacy.
