Kelly M. Ransom is a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in psychotherapy, consultation, and working with children. Kelly currently holds the position of Early Childhood Mental Health Director at We Care Services for Children, and also works as a psychologist in the Nurturing NICU Families Project at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center. Prior to this, Kelly worked in various roles at Santa Clara County Health and Hospital System, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, and UCSF Infant-Parent Program at San Francisco General Hospital.

We Care Services for Children helps to transform the lives of Contra Costa County's most vulnerable children and their families through early intervention, violence prevention, and mental health treatment. Our services include: Speech Therapy - to increase a child's ability to communicate Occupational Therapy - to enhance a child's movement, daily living skills, and independence Mental Health Services - to improve a child's emotional well-being and address behavioral issues Wraparound - to help families address major life issues Early Childhood Education - to prepare a child to succeed in school Family Support Groups and Parent Education - to help parents meet the challenges of parenting Preschool Consultation - to provide mental health and developmental referral services to licensed preschool programs
