Gabie Kur

Gabie Kur has a wide range of work experience in the fields of marketing, communications, and writing. Gabie'smost recent role was as the Senior Vice President at Codeword, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, Gabie was the Partner and General Manager of the New York City office at BAM Communications from January 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they successfully grew the business and led a team of 7-10 PR accounts.

From 2015 to 2016, Gabie worked as an Account Supervisor at Codeword, where they managed a team and served as the senior client contact for tech companies and startups. Gabie also held the position of Senior Account Executive at the same company from March 2015 to December 2015.

Before joining Codeword, Gabie worked as a Freelance Writer for TechRadar Pro from May 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, they worked as an Account Executive at Knock Twice from March 2014 to February 2015, where they focused on bringing tech startups to market and building strong brands.

Gabie also gained experience in marketing roles at Outbrain, PolicyMic, Boloco, Hill Holliday, and VH1. At Outbrain, they served as a Marketing Coordinator from January 2013 to March 2014 and as a Marketing & Community Development Consultant from May 2012 to December 2012. Gabie contributed articles for the Culture section of PolicyMic from July 2012 to January 2014. Gabie also held positions as a Campus Maven at Boloco, a Social Media Strategy Intern at Hill Holliday, and a VH1 Headquarters Intern, where they worked with the president and the press department.

Gabie Kur attended South Side High School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Following high school, they pursued higher education at Boston University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, Gabie Kur obtained both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree, majoring in International Relations and Public Relations.
