Dan Woods has an extensive work experience in the communications and healthcare industries. Dan currently serves as the Managing Director and former Chief Executive Officer of WE Communications Australia, where they are responsible for strategic direction, operations, and financial management. Dan is also a Council Member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and a Deputy Chair of Palliative Care South East Ltd. Furthermore, they hold the position of Non Executive Director at Woodlinda Pty Ltd, a bio-medical company focused on chronic disease management. Prior to their current roles, Dan worked in various leadership positions at Bolton Clarke, RSL Care, RDNS Group, and Royal District Nursing Service, where they played a key role in brand development, business strategy, and communications.
Dan Woods has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from RMIT University. Dan also holds a Certificate in Marketing Practice from RMIT University and a Certificate in Brand Management from Melbourne Business School. Dan has completed the Company Directors Course from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Marketing Week Mini MBA with Mark Ritson. Dan attended Camberwell Grammar School, where they served as the School V-Captain and House Captain, and earned various honors in athletics and drama. Dan has additional certifications in workplace mental health, brand management, and coaching from institutions such as SuperFriend, Melbourne Business School, and the AFL - Australian Football League. Dan is also a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
