Michael Stephens

Michael Edward Stephens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in creative leadership and LGBTQ+ advocacy. As the Founder and CEO of WE CREATE SPACE since May 2020, Michael leads a community-driven learning platform dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and under-represented professionals through bespoke DEI solutions. In July 2023, a shift toward personal consultancy as an LGBTQ+ Coach commenced, following a decade in reputable British brands such as i-D Magazine, Vice Media, and Virgin Atlantic, where expertise in creative direction and brand management was honed. Additionally, Michael serves as a Mental Health Speaker and LGBTQ+ Wellbeing Advocate for MQ Mental Health Research, emphasizing the necessity of mental health support within the workplace. A graduate of Newcastle University, Michael holds a Combined Honours degree in Fine Art, Spanish, and French, further enhancing a diverse and impactful career.
