Maria Taddesse is the Head of Business Development at We Effect, where they drive organizational growth and innovation in support of the mission to create a fair and sustainable world. Previously, they served as the Programme Officer and Technical Advisor on Microfinance at We Effect, along with roles such as Process Leader in Financial Development and Regional Director for Southern Africa. With extensive experience in microfinance and resource mobilization across several regions, Maria has played a pivotal role in developing strategies and policies to enhance financial services and organizational efficiency. They are currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Economics and a University Diploma in Political Science at Lund University.
