David Peterson

David Peterson has worked in the technology industry since 1988. David began their career as a Computer Operator at Mason Companies, Inc. where they were responsible for running nightly jobs on a mainframe computer for daily company operations, printing and processing forms and reports, and assisting in troubleshooting program failures and suggesting more efficient methods. In 1998, they joined Applied Data Consultants, Inc. as a GIS Technician to develop and maintain digital geographic data. David was later promoted to Project Manager of WebGUIDE, an internet based program that delivers client's spatial and tabular data to the web. In 2013, they moved to We R Food Safety! as a Program Manager, where they were responsible for project management, design, research and development assistance of applications, testing, troubleshooting and enhancement suggestions based on client requests of applications.

David Peterson obtained an Associate's degree in Geographic Information Systems from Chippewa Valley Technical College in 1998. David had previously obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Operations/Data Processing from the same college in 1988. In 2009, they were awarded the Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification from the GIS Certification Institute.
