Founded by and managed by trauma survivors, We Rise Together is a healing haven of love, support and friendship for immigrant trauma survivors in Munich. 
A humble recipient of a Top 25 Start Social national prize in Germany and a Top 40 EU Social Innovation Prize from the European Investment Bank.

In our beloved community, we offer an array of support services, from group meetings and one-on-one sessions, to online chat groups. These resources aim to aid survivors in their journey of healing, while also providing education on the impact of trauma in our lives. Additionally, we offer trauma-sensitive yoga, self-help materials, art therapy classes, therapist talks, seminars, make up and styling workshops, cooking workshops, retreats, and various other social activities. It is important to note that all these offerings are provided at no cost to our members. Access to psychosomatic clinics for our members is limited, due to the scarcity of English therapeutic services. We firmly believe that financial constraints should not hinder our healing.

The essence of love lies at the core of our community, as we wholeheartedly believe in the transformative power of compassion, kindness, and unwavering support. Our aim is to cultivate an atmosphere of love and nurturing, where trauma survivors can find solace and understanding.

Empathy is another guiding principle within our community. Recognizing the isolating nature of trauma, we foster a culture that encourages empathy and connection among members who share similar journeys. By openly sharing and attentively listening to one another, we find comfort in the knowledge that we are not alone, and that our emotions and experiences are valid.

By upholding these values, we create a safe and nurturing environment where trauma survivors can connect, heal, and flourish as we rise together.
