Head Of Exhibitions at We The Curious

Andy Cocco has over 20 years of work experience in the field of exhibition design and management. Andy started their career in 2001 as a Designer at Shades Technics Ltd, gaining skills in mould design, problem-solving, and project management. In 2003, they joined Techniquest Science Centre as a Senior Interactive Developer Designer, where they focused on creating interactive exhibits related to the science of music. Since 2006, Andy has been working at We The Curious, initially as a Design Engineer before progressing to Exhibition and Workshop Manager and currently as the Head of Exhibitions. Andy'sresponsibilities have included designing and developing exhibitions for science museums and large exhibition events, managing technical aspects such as procurement and subcontractor management, and overseeing exhibit build and project management. Andy's work experience showcases their expertise in exhibition design, technical advising, and project management.

Andy Cocco attended Loughborough University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Industrial Design & Technology. In addition to their formal education, Andy obtained several certifications, including Iosh Managing Safely from Astutis in May 2023, PRINCE2® 2017 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in November 2022, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2022.

We The Curious is an educational charity on Bristol Harbourside and South West England’s leading science centre. Our vision is of a future where everyone is included, curious and inspired by science to build a better world, together. Our interactive experience is a safe and welcoming place for people to get creative, ask questions and explore different ideas.
