We The Curious
Carmela Pietrangelo is an experienced content producer currently working at We The Curious since September 2019, where responsibilities include producing, reviewing, and managing content for interactive exhibition spaces. Prior experience includes roles such as content developer for Project What If at We The Curious, business analyst for Lira.ltd supporting SMEs in accessing H2020 funding, and research assistant at the University of the West of England focusing on local repair business history. Additional roles range from teaching assistant at Rosedale Primary School to media content and event manager at Poet in the City, along with various research positions at Wall to Wall Media and BBC. Carmela holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Producing from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Queen Mary University of London.
We The Curious
We The Curious is an educational charity on Bristol Harbourside and South West England’s leading science centre. Our vision is of a future where everyone is included, curious and inspired by science to build a better world, together. Our interactive experience is a safe and welcoming place for people to get creative, ask questions and explore different ideas. We develop inclusive learning programmes with and for local people, from our youth careers programme to school trips for over 60,000 children a year. We partner with universities, schools and community groups to support people to explore their curiosity, make connections, improve their confidence and wellbeing. We believe that science is a shared human activity full of challenging questions, different perspectives and positive action that can transform lives.
