Matt McManus

Matt McManus is an experienced host, writer, and producer in the entertainment industry with a robust background in media and comedy. Currently hosting the podcast "Role Call" for We The Project since March 2020, Matt explores the journeys of notable figures in media. Previously, Matt created and hosted the comedy series "Here We Go" for Firework, and contributed as a writer for WWE's "Swerved," showcasing talent in both comedic writing and performance. Additional experience includes working with various networks such as GSN and Turner Broadcasting, as well as developing the ambush game show "Bum Rush" and participating in TBS's "Funniest Wins." Early career highlights involve writing for MTV's "Jerks with Cameras" and executive producing the successful web series "McMayhem." Matt holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the State University of New York at Albany.
