Laura Du has a diverse work experience in the tech industry and beyond. Laura is currently working at a stealth startup, where they are involved in a project focused on changing the face of technology leadership by supporting and empowering women in engineering. Prior to this, Laura founded We3, a professional network for women in web3, where they organized numerous in-person events and made significant investments in companies related to web3 technology.

In addition to their work in the tech industry, Laura has also worked as a growth and product freelancer, as well as in venture capital and angel investing. Laura has worked with Kindred, a travel startup, and Heretic Ventures, a venture studio focused on AI and web3. Laura has also been involved with Afore Capital, a pre-seed venture capital firm, and launched founders' program Zero-to-1 and Angel to Fund Manager program.

Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Laura worked at Opendoor, where they held various roles in product management and business operations. Laura played a key role in product development and launch, as well as expanding into new markets. Laura also has experience as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where they worked with a variety of clients in different industries, including tech, consumer/retail, finance, and healthcare. Laura specialized in strategy, marketing, market entry, and post-merger integration. During their time at McKinsey & Company, Laura also engaged in pro bono work, supporting nonprofit organizations and teaching business workshops.

Laura's early career included a role as an investment team analyst at Sierra Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on technology investments, and a position as a corporate sales manager at Business Today.

Laura Du has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
