Nichola Watters Mrtpi

Nichola Watters MRTPI currently serves as the Head of Planning Policy, Economy and Climate Change at Wealden District Council since September 2022. Prior to this role, Nichola was the Planning Policy Manager at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council from June 2021 to September 2022 and held multiple positions at Rother District Council, including Planning Policy Manager, Planning Policy Team Leader, and Principal Planning Officer, from February 2010 to June 2021. Beginning in the planning field at Hastings Borough Council as a Planning Research and Development Monitoring Officer from September 2005 to February 2010, Nichola gained earlier experience as the GIS/LLPG Custodian at Canterbury City Council from January 2004 to September 2005. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems with Business Management from Kingston University.
