Alex Davies

Alex Davies has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Alex is currently the Chief Executive and Founder of Wealth Club Ltd, the UK's leading alternative investment platform for high net worth investors. Since its launch in 2016, Wealth Club has become the largest broker of Venture Capital Trusts and offers a range of other investment options.

Before founding Wealth Club, Alex held various roles at Hargreaves Lansdown. From 2006 to 2013, they served as a Director and Executive Committee member, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's pensions, asset management, advisory, and stockbroking sectors. Alex played a pivotal role in building up Hargreaves Lansdown's pensions business, which is now one of the largest SIPP providers in the UK and a leading Corporate Wrap provider. Alex was also heavily involved in marketing and e-commerce initiatives.

Prior to their Director role, Alex served as the Head of Personal Pensions at Hargreaves Lansdown from 2001 to 2006, where they led a team of five people and was responsible for various tasks ranging from administration to IT system setup and client support. Alex began their career at Hargreaves Lansdown as a Graduate Trainee in 1999, where they gained experience in all aspects of the pension department's operations.

Alex Davies completed a Diploma in Interactive and Direct Marketing at The Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing from 2005 to 2006. Alex earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent between 1995 and 1998. Prior to that, they attended Wells Cathedral School from 1987 to 1994, but their degree and field of study are unknown.
