Susanne Astrid Schmidt

Susanne Astrid Schmidt has over 18 years of experience in portfolio management and investment, currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Management Co-Investments and Structured Assets at Wealthcap since July 2005. In this role, Susanne leads a successful team of investment professionals, employing a holistic approach that encompasses structuring, accounting, modeling, and administration of alternative investments, with a focus on renewable energy, aviation finance, and secondary markets. Susanne also manages cross-border transactions and oversees direct investments in special situations such as restructuring and refinancing. Previously, Susanne held various positions at UniCredit, including Head of Portfolio Management Transportation and UK Insurance, Senior Fund Manager, Project Manager, and Consultant. Susanne holds a degree in Betriebswirt from VWA München (2003 - 2007) and has academic experience from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg (1999 - 2000).
