Alissa Luk

Alissa Luk has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a Software Engineer at Wealthfront starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Software Engineering Applications as a Full Stack Engineer - Product Manager, where they managed a team of nine engineers to develop a mobile application for managing baby feeding and sleeping schedules. Alissa also worked as a Full Stack Developer for Green Thumb Journal, a Back End Developer for Atelier API, and a Front End Developer for Project Spacewalk, where they developed applications, increased performance, and collaborated with teams.

Before transitioning to the tech industry, Alissa worked as an Educator at Ascend Public Charter Schools, where they developed reading plans and remote learning curriculum. Alissa also worked as a Tutor at Compass Education Group, Teaching Fellow at Citizen Schools, and Tutor at Huntington Learning Center, gaining experience in the education sector.
