Harish Pendela

Harish Pendela has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Harish is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Wealthfront since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked at PayPal where they held multiple roles. Harish started as a Software Development Engineer - 2 in January 2018 and was involved in designing and developing credit eligibility rules and REST APIs for PayPal's credit team. Harish also contributed to the design and development of front-end applications using Node and React for PayPal's installment-based products. In 2020, Harish was promoted to the role of Software Development Engineer - Full Stack and worked on delivering PayPal's Pay In 4 (4x) installment based products. Harish was responsible for designing and developing front-end applications using Node and React. Before joining PayPal, Harish had an internship at Netskope in 2017 where they built microservices in Python, developed ETL services, and configured EC2 instances and S3 buckets on AWS. Prior to that, they worked at Netskope as a Software Development Engineer - 2 where they designed and developed REST services in Python for cloud security solutions. Harish also mentored interns and new hires during their time at Netskope. Harish's earliest work experience was as a Peer Tutor at Vellore Institute of Technology, where they helped students improve their programming skills in C, C++, and Java.

Harish Pendela completed their education at various institutions. Harish obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Networking from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2014. Harish also completed their 11th and 12th grades at Sri Chaitanya Junior College, where they studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Arizona State University from 2016 to 2017.

In terms of certifications, Harish Pendela has achieved several, including "Software Architecture: From Developer to Architect" from LinkedIn in March 2022, "Develop Your Leadership Potential: Stop Doing, Start Leading" from Dale Carnegie Training in November 2020, and "Learning Java Lambda Expressions" from LinkedIn in October 2020, among others. Harish also obtained the "Cognizant Certified Student" certification from CTS in March 2013.
