Macu Gené-Garrigós has been working in the financial services industry since 2005. Starting with an internship at Pilar Sánchez Rodríguez Law Firm in 2005, Macu then worked as an Account Executive at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management in 2006. In 2008, Macu worked as an Intern on the Legal Department at JAZZTEL Telecommunications Company. From 2009 to 2012, Macu was a Senior Broker Services Executive at CMC Markets. From 2012 to 2015, Macu worked as an AML & Compliance Officer at Falcon Private Bank Ltd. From 2015 to 2019, Macu was an AML, KYC & Compliance Officer at Falcon Private Wealth Ltd. Finally, from 2019 to present, Macu has been working as Compliance & HR and AML & Compliance Officer at WealthKernel.

Macu Gené-Garrigós obtained a Master Degree in Law from CEU Cardenal Herrera University in 2005. From 2006 to 2007, they studied Business English at Regent's University London. In 2008 and 2009, they completed a Master in Telecommunications, Internet and Audiovisual Law and Business from Cremades & Calvo-Sotelo Law Firm, Villanueva College& National Council of Public Notaries of Madrid. Additionally, they hold certifications in Prince2 (APMG-International, 2015), ICA Certificate in Anti Money Laundering Awareness (International Compliance Training, 2013), Achieving Service Excellence (The Forum Corporation, 2011), and Building Client Relationships: Through Using a Consultative Approach (The Forum Corporation, 2011).
