Antonio Vassell is an experienced engineering manager and software developer with a strong background in both backend and frontend development. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Wealthsimple since December 2021, Antonio has also held positions as Senior Software Developer and Software Engineer II. Prior to this, at Peer Ledger Inc. from September 2017 to December 2021, Antonio led a team in building supply chain track and trace solutions, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, MySQL, and Docker, while following Agile project management practices. Earlier experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Medullan, where Antonio developed HIPAA and HITRUST compliant applications and led an R&D team, as well as positions at Linking Arts, Cake Development Corporation, and Jamaica National Building Society.
