Hanna Zaidi

Hanna Zaidi is an experienced leader in the fintech sector, currently serving as Vice President of Payments Strategy and Chief Compliance Officer at Wealthsimple since July 2019. In addition to this role, Hanna is actively involved with Payments Canada as a member of the Membership Advisory Council, Moonarch as an Advisor, and Rally Cap Ventures as an Investor. Previous advisory roles include contributions to Moneyworld and a founding board membership with the Open Banking Initiative Canada. Hanna has experience mentoring at Techstars' New York Barclays Fintech Accelerator and was a Fintech Fellow with On Deck. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Policy from the University of Toronto and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from York University.
