Billie Whitehouse has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Coach at Kincoppal in 2005. In 2008 they were a Retail Assistant at Henry Buck's, and in 2010 they were an Alumni Manager at Whitehouse Institute of Design. In 2015, they began working as a Consultant and Contributor at Refinery29, Inc., as well as the CEO and Creative Director of Wearable X. In 2019, they became a Partner Program Manager at Wearable X, working with Google ATAP's group doing research in the Adaptive technology & design spaces. Throughout their career, Billie has specialized in the combination of hardware, software and apparel for wearable technology products, and is known for their development of Nadi X and Fan Jersey, which were recently presented at Super Bowl 50.

Billie Whitehouse attended Frensham School from 1999 to 2004. Billie then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Design from the Whitehouse Institute of Design in Australia from 2005 to 2008. After that, they earned a Master's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Academia Italiana from 2009 to 2010.
