Merilen Govender is a skilled professional in the chemical and paint industries with extensive experience in laboratory management and quality control. Currently serving as Laboratory Manager at WearCheck since October 2023, Merilen previously held the position of Quality Control and Manufacturing Manager at POWAFIX from June 2021 to October 2023, and worked as Technical and Operations Manager at Paragon Paints from August 2017 to June 2021. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Development Chemist at Witon Chemicals and Senior Lab Technician at Sancryl Chemicals. Merilen's background encompasses production planning, product optimization, equipment evaluation, and adherence to health and safety standards, supported by a B-Tech Degree in Operations Management and Supervision from Durban University of Technology, along with various certifications in quality and chemical operations.
