Michael Hengherr

Michael Hengherr has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. From 1998 to 2001 they worked at Infor Business Solutions AG as a Quality Assurance/Web Developer, where they designed and implemented scripts for automated software testing and enhancements for the inhouse eShop solution. From 2001 to 2003 they worked at Cinetic Medientechnik/flug.de as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented the software to power the travel portal flug.de. From 2003 to 2006 they worked at Travel Overland GmbH/Travelocity.com as a Software Developer and at Scubapro Tauchausrüstungen GmbH as a Website Administrator, where they customized the website provided by the US parent company and coordinated hosting plans. From 2006 to 2007 they worked at tagSOLUTE GmbH as Head of Backend Development, where they designed and implemented backend systems, data exchange services, and APIs for external use, as well as image processing algorithms for their 2D barcode products. Michael also worked at GameConsultants.com as an Assistant Game Designer/Producer from 2007 to 2018. Since 2018, they have been working at WeAre GmbH - The Virtual Engineering Base as CTO and Head of Backend Development.

Michael Hengherr obtained a degree in Computer Sciences from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) between 1997 and 2000. Michael has also obtained five certifications from Coursera, including Reproducible Research (March 2018), Exploratory Data Analysis (February 2018), Getting and Cleaning Data (January 2018), R Programming (January 2018), and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox (December 2017).
