James Anderson is the current President at Elevate. Prior to this, they were the Global Network Director - Team iX at McCann from July 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for building and running the IPG- Team IX global network of regional agencies over 10 global markets. James also led activation of Mastercard's UEFA Champions League Sponsorship and oversaw teams activating Bacardi-Martini UK brands in the off and on trade.
From January 2017 to January 2020, Anderson was the Founder of The Collider Consultancy, where they provided consultancy and activation for start ups and global brands looking to grow through strategic marketing partnerships.
Anderson's career began at Momentum, where they were Managing Partner from February 2010 to December 2016. In this role, they had oversight of a portfolio of UK and global client accounts including Microsoft, GSMA, Sony Mobile, Intel and Ford. James also led the global Microsoft business for Momentum Worldwide as part of a McCann Worldgroup team including opening an office in Seattle. Additionally, they created a multi UK award winning digital transformation conference for Microsoft’s enterprise customers called Future Decoded and developed and launched a customer engagement innovation offering called ‘Smarter connections’, speaking on stage at Mobile World Congress Barcelona.
During their time at Momentum, Anderson also created a mobile and entertainment platform at Mobile World Congress with the GSMA called The MMIX and launched Kinect for Xbox 360 in 2010, helping it become the fastest selling consumer devise of all time. James also created an owned VR platform called IMMERSE to build optimized retail experiences for brands and led a team that built the ‘Live Billboard’ campaign for Xbox winning over 50 international awards in 2016 including Cannes lions, The One Show and D&AD gold.
James Anderson has a BA hons in Business Administration from De Montfort University. Their field is Business Administration and Marketing. James also has a certification from the Market Research Society (MRS).
