Emma King has been in the workforce since 1998. Emma began their career at Tesco PLC, where they worked as a Personnel Manager and then a Group Personnel Manager. In 2007, they joined Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market, Inc. as the Director of Talent Acquisition, HR Systems & Processes and Human Resources Manager. In 2013, they moved to Wet Seal, Inc. where they served as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Interim VP of Human Resources. In 2014, Emma took on the role of Full Time Mommy at Child Development. Most recently, they have been the Chief People and Culture Officer at Envoy since 2015.

Emma King has an extensive education history. In 2021, they obtained an Accredited Organisational Coach from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL). Emma is currently pursuing a LI/MI coaching accreditation from Human Synergistics. Emma also holds a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the University of Bristol. Emma has numerous certifications, including an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation, a CPCC Coach from the Co-Active Training Institute, CTI Coaching: Synergy, Process, Balance, and Fulfillment from the Co-Active Training Institute, Leadership Circle from The Leadership Circle, CTI Coaching: Fundementals from the Co-Active Training Institute, Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL), Human Synergistics from Human Synergistics, a Predictive Index Practioner from The Predictive Index, and an SPHR from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
