R. Kyle Shoup

Executive Creative Director at Envoy

R. Kyle Shoup began their work experience as a Designer at Catt Lyon Design in 2003, where they specialized in creating environmental graphics for clients such as the Chicago Bears and Cincinnati Bengals. R. Kyle then moved on to Lightborne in 2005, working as a Designer/Animator and collaborating with the team on various projects, including directing the Grammy-nominated video "Summer Skin" for Death Cab For Cutie. In 2008, Shoup joined Foundation Content/Post as a Senior Designer, where they worked on motion design projects for national clients like McDonald's and Budweiser. R. Kyle eventually became an Associate Creative Director before being promoted to Creative Director in 2011. Shoup took on the role of Creative Director and Motion Designer at Freelance in 2013 before joining Envoy later that same year, initially as a Creative Director and subsequently being promoted to Executive Creative Director in December 2018. Throughout their career, Shoup has demonstrated their ability to manage, design, animate, composite, and supervise visual effects.

R. Kyle Shoup obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Graphic Design from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in July 2020.
