Richard Stainforth Mbcs

Richard Stainforth MBCS has over 20 years of work experience in various IT roles. Richard is currently the Head of Cyber & Infrastructure at SimplyBiz, where their responsibilities include leading the IT Infrastructure department and working with other teams in a goal-oriented functional team. Prior to this, Richard worked as the IT Infrastructure Manager at Xiros, where they managed the internal IT department and guided the company through a digital transformation plan. Richard also worked as the Lead Infrastructure Architect/Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Restore - Document Management, providing technical advice and ensuring alignment with the IT business strategy. Richard's earlier experiences include roles such as Service Desk/NOC Manager at GCI Communications LLP, Help Desk Manager at Legend Club Management, and IT Systems Support Engineer at Masternaut. Richard started their career in the British Army as a Combat Medical Technician.

Richard Stainforth MBCS completed the GAMP5 Computer System Validation course at SQT Training Ltd in 2019. In addition, they obtained the ISACA Certified Information Security Manager certification from QA Ltd and The Ethical IT Professional certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, both in 2023.
