Sergi Philipsen

Sergi Philipsen is a Software Engineer at WeAreFrank! since September 2020, responsible for the Frank!Flow, the Frank Integration Platform, and serving as a Kubernetes administrator. Previously, Sergi completed an internship at WeAreFrank!, where work focused on implementing XML code completion for the Frank!Framework through an open-source library. In addition to this technical experience, Sergi held the role of Treasurer at S.V. Syntax from September 2019 to August 2020, managing accounting and chairing the organization. Early career experience includes various roles at Spare Rib Express NL from June 2017 to July 2019, progressing from Delivery Driver to Cook and ultimately overseeing operations. Sergi began the professional journey with an internship at .VDMi/, which provided exposure to the open-source community and real-world work experiences. Sergi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Software Engineering from Hogeschool Leiden, attained in August 2022, and completed prior education at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam from 2014 to 2017.
