Doeke Geertsma has extensive work experience in the recruitment and staffing industry. Doeke is the Co-Founder and CEO of WeAreKeen | Talent Partners, a company focused on providing embedded recruitment solutions to tech companies across Europe. Prior to this, Geertsma worked at YoungCapital as the Commercial Director, where they played a key role in the company's growth across Europe. Doeke also worked at Young & Ambitious, a student staffing start-up, where they started as a recruiter and eventually became the Branch Manager. Geertsma took a sabbatical and traveled extensively from 2000 to 2003.
Doeke Geertsma started their education in 1999 at the University of Groningen, where they studied Economic & Social Geography until 2001. From 2003 to 2006, they attended the University of Applied Sciences of Groningen and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management. In 2010, they pursued their MBA at the University of Amsterdam - Amsterdam Business School, specializing in International Business, which they completed in 2012. In 2015, Doeke obtained a certificate in German from the Language Institute Regina Coeli.
