Fionn O'Brien MCIOB is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in BIM and digital construction. Currently serving in a voluntary leadership role at WeAreNima.im since April 2022, Fionn supports the advancement of digital construction within a community of industry experts. As the Operating Unit BIM Manager and BIM Manager for Housing at BOUYGUES UK since April 2015, responsibilities include managing BIM processes across London Housing projects. Previously, Fionn held the position of BIM Manager at Costain, leading the BIM delivery for the London Bridge station redevelopment project. Fionn's career began at Laing O'Rourke, where as Lead Digital Engineer/BIM Coordinator, significant contributions were made to BIM development in various construction phases, including managing the Heathrow Terminal 2 project. Fionn's educational background includes a Master's degree in BIM and Integrated Design from The University of Salford and a Bachelor's degree in 3D Modelling, Multimedia, and Web Programming from Swansea University.
