Anthony Garcia

Anthony Garcia has a diverse background in various industries, starting with their role as an Infantry in the US Army from February 2006 to July 2014. Following their military service, they worked as a Construction Manager at Alamo Solutions from October 2014 to October 2015, focusing on telecom programs across multiple states.

In 2015, they joined Nova Mission Critical as a Project Manager, where they had two distinct roles: managing data center builds for various clients and overseeing a consulting contract with Google Fiber to develop and manage a commissioning program for modular data centers in the US.

In 2017, Anthony joined Oracle as a Data Center Operations Program Manager, responsible for managing data center services. Anthony later transitioned to the role of Production Operations Lead for the Data Transfer Service, a cloud-based data migration service, from August 2018 to January 2020.

Currently, Anthony is President - Veteran Development and a Co-Founder | Executive-Vice President at Overwatch, a company focused on the development of data centers. Anthony leads the Veteran Development pathway, providing guidance and mentorship to US military Veterans transitioning into the Mission Critical Industry. Additionally, they oversee data center services and government projects, including nuclear laboratories and VA hospitals.

Anthony Garcia completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from The University of Texas at San Antonio from 2006 to 2009. In 2010, they attended the US Army Infantry School to complete the Infantry Officer Leader Course. Anthony also has additional certifications in Nokia L700 from Nokia obtained in July 2015, OSHA 30 Construction Safety Training from Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) obtained in January 2015, Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP) from CNet Training obtained in July 2018, and Fiber Optic Infrastructure Specialist from CommScope obtained in April 2018.
