Christopher Opat is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management. Currently serving as President of Saber Uptime at OVERWATCH since December 2025, Christopher previously held senior leadership positions at Backblaze as SVP of Cloud Operations, StackPath as SVP of Platform Operations and Engineering, and Cloudreach (an Eviden business) as Global Head of Cloud Operations. Additional roles include Head of Cloud Technology at Compucom, Vice President of Critical Infrastructure Services at CyrusOne, and Vice President at J.P. Morgan. Earlier in the career, Christopher served as Chief Technology Officer at EMC Mortgage and Managing Director at Bear Stearns, after starting as an Infrastructure Engineer at Tosco Corporation. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ithaca College.
