Hannah Hudson has a diverse work experience in the field of education and media. Hannah started their career as a Senior Contributing Editor at Scholastic Professional Media in December 2006, where they wrote and edited content for various magazines. After leaving Scholastic in March 2012, Hannah joined WeAreTeachers as the Editorial Director of WeAreTeachers.com. In this role, they led a team to create daily content supporting educators and advised partners on reaching teachers, kids, and families. In July 2016, Hannah co-founded EmojiMom, an emoji keyboard app for iOS and Android that gained recognition from media outlets such as the Today Show, Buzzfeed, and Scary Mommy. Hannah remained involved with EmojiMom until July 2021. Overall, Hannah's work experience demonstrates their passion for supporting educators and creating engaging content.
Hannah Hudson has a strong educational background. Hannah earned an A.B. degree in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University, where they attended from 1999 to 2003. Furthermore, they obtained an MFA degree from Hamline University, specializing in Writing for Children and Young Adults, studying there from 2007 to 2009.
