Bill Bence

Bill Bence has had a long and successful career in the transportation industry. Bill began their career in 1999 as the Division Vice President of Operations at Consolidated Freightways. In 2002, they moved to YRC Freight as a Senior Account Manager, and in 2008 they were promoted to National Sales Director. In 2005, they founded and operated their own restaurants, B-Inlaws Restaurants, before selling the business to a competitor. In 2009, they joined XPO Logistics, Inc. as an Area Director of Sales and a National Account Executive. In 2014, they joined Yellow as Vice President of Corporate 3PL Sales and Vice President of LTL Operations. In 2016, they moved to Forward Air Corporation as the Senior Director of LTL Sales & Operations. In 2021, they joined AFS Logistics as the Vice President of Sales, and in 2022 they joined WARP as the Head of Sales.

Bill Bence attended The University of Memphis from 1988 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General. During this time, they also studied Cotton Trade at the International Cotton Exchange from 1991 to 1992.
