Phill Giancarlo has over twenty years of experience in the technology industry. Phill started their career in 1991 as Development Manager at PSI International Inc., where they were part of the leadership team that established the Northeast Development Center and led the teams responsible for creating and delivering mobile products and services to law enforcement and public safety clients. In 1996, they moved to c.w. Costello & Associates as a Senior Consultant and Account Manager, where they led the creation and rollout of a new applications development strategy for a large insurance client and was the lead designer for a proprietary trading and portfolio management system. In 1998, Phill joined Hartford Investment Management as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, where they managed over $170 billion in assets and over $100 billion (notional) in derivatives. In 2011, Phill founded AppPotential to leverage mobile technology to create new products and services. AppPotential has created its own branded products as well as developing new products for third parties, including several patent pending devices and services. In 2014, Phill co-founded Wearsafe Labs to create new products that enhance personal security through the use of wearable and mobile technologies. The Wearsafe product was brought to market in 2015 and is backed by several pending patents.
Phill Giancarlo received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Connecticut between 1987 and 1990.
