Michael Slater

Michael Slater has extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as the Finish Goods Supervisor for Machine Shop/Welding Rod Processing at Weartech International - A Lincoln Electric Company since December 2015, after progressing from the role of Machine Shop Supervisor. Prior to this, Michael worked at Schaeffler from September 1995 to November 2015, where responsibilities included Toolroom Supervisor, Toolmaker/TPM Engineer, and Toolmaker Apprentice. Academic qualifications include an NVQ Level 4 in Manufacturing Engineering from Coleg sir gar (2005-2006), HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering from Llanelli College (1995-1998), and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Gorseinon College (1993-1995), alongside foundational education from Penyrheol Comprehensive School (1988-1993).
