Alex Avalos

Alex Avalos is an experienced meteorologist with a diverse background in weather forecasting and operations management. Currently serving as Operations Manager and Synoptic Marine Senior Meteorologist at Weather Routing Inc. since March 2017, Avalos previously held roles at AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions, Inc. as a Certified Storm Warning Meteorologist, providing timely storm warnings and forecasts. Earlier experience includes serving as an On-Air Meteorologist for the Vermont Center for Community Journalism and as a Road Weather Forecaster for the Vermont Institute of Applied Meteorology. Avalos also gained valuable insight through internships at New England Cable News and WTNH News 8. Alex Avalos holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Lyndon State College.
