Philippa Wyndham Jones is an experienced professional in business development within the life sciences sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Weatherden since June 2025. Prior to this role, Philippa held the position of Director of Business Development at Calliditas Therapeutics AB from September 2021 to May 2025, during which the company was acquired by Asahi Kasei for $1.1 billion. Experience also includes Director of Business Development at Avillion LLP and a position within Life Sciences Private Equity at The Blackstone Group. Philippa has a strong analytical background from a role as an Analyst in Private Equity at BlackRock and has conducted research as a Summer Researcher at the New York Genome Center. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Biotechnology from Columbia University, completion of the Artificial Intelligence Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Durham University.
