Frank Kalb has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Frank started their career in 1998 at Halliburton, where they worked as a Mechanical Senior Development Engineer, specializing in the creation of Subsurface Safety Valves and other completion products. Frank then became a Mechanical Principle Development Engineer, serving as a subject matter expert in the application of advanced engineering theories and techniques. Later, they became the Mechanical Technical Advisor Development Team Lead, leading global efforts to create unique completion equipment for high-pressure high-temperature applications.

In 2012, Frank joined Dril-Quip as a Senior Section Leader, where they led a team in product development and commercialization efforts. Frank also served as an Engineering Manager, achieving continuous improvement objectives and best practices for design, development, and production support. As a Research & Development Manager, Frank steered a multi-facility operation and achieved objectives through effective budget management and planning.

In 2018, Frank started their own company, Kalb Engineering and Technical Solutions, where they focused on engineering management and providing solutions for the oil and gas industry. Currently, they are working at Weatherford as a Principal Engineer, specializing in Liner Hanger Systems and Well Completions. With their extensive experience, Frank has demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and driving engineering solutions.

Frank Kalb earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
