Giuseppe Biasco

Senior Vice President Finance, Global Operations at Weatherford

Giuseppe Biasco has a comprehensive work experience in finance-related roles. Giuseppe started their career at Deloitte South Africa, where they worked as a Manager in Audits from 1994 to 1997. Giuseppe then joined PwC as a Manager in the Transaction Services Group from 1997 to 1998. In 1999, Biasco became the Chief Financial Officer at Entech Industries Inc, an energy company. After that, they worked at Dresser, Inc. as the EMAR Regional Financial Controller from 2001 to 2005. In 2005, they joined Cameron, a Schlumberger company, as the Financial Controller in Italy until 2008. From 2009 to 2010, they served as the EPC Projects Finance Director for Cameron, responsible for a project off the coast of Nigeria. Biasco then held various roles at Cameron, including Regional Finance Director in Brazil from 2010 to 2011, VP Finance of Subsea Systems from 2011 to 2014, and VP Finance of Valves & Measurement Division from 2014 to 2016. Giuseppe then joined Schlumberger as the VP Finance of the Valves and Measurement Segment from 2016 to 2017. Afterward, they worked at Shawcor as the VP Finance of Shawcor PPG from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Biasco is serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance for Global Operations at Weatherford, starting in 2024.

Giuseppe Biasco has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Commercial Law from Rhodes University, obtained in 1993. Giuseppe then pursued an Honours Bachelor in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa in 1994 and 1995. Following this, they became a Qualified Chartered Accountant from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1997. Giuseppe additionally holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Dresser, Inc., earned in 2006.
