Jess Ford

Jess Ford is a seasoned professional in engineering and scientific research, currently serving as the Manager of Sustaining Engineering for Weatherford, where oversight of daily activities for Cased Hole and Mechanical Services tools is a primary responsibility. With a rich background in optical sensor development and project management, Jess has held various roles at Weatherford, including Principal Scientist and Interim Director of Fort Worth Wireline R&D, managing a large team and significant budgets. Prior experience includes consultancy at Ridgeline Enterprises and senior scientific roles at Custom Sensors and Technology and InSurf. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Penn State University and a BS in Chemistry from Lewis & Clark College.
