Alexis Kennedy

Alexis Kennedy, CPA, CITP, CISSP, CISA, CCSFP, currently serves as a Partner at Weaver since July 2019, after a decade-long tenure at Plante Moran, where roles included Senior Manager of Cybersecurity and Consulting Manager in Security Assurance. Alexis has extensive experience managing SOC 1, 2, and 3 reviews, aiding clients in identifying relevant standards and conducting risk assessments to enhance their control environments. Earlier experiences include roles in golf services and as an Accounting Assistant at Bayco Management Company, where Alexis provided accounting and bookkeeping support. Alexis holds an M.S. in Accounting and Information Systems and a B.A. in Accounting & Information Systems, both from Michigan State University.
